The mission of Cascade Mental Health Care is to provide our clients with compassionate and encouraging counseling leading to a renewed sense of hope and the ability to make positive changes and live more satisfying lives.

Requesting Services

The first step to receiving services from Cascade Mental Health Care (CMHC) is to make a request for services. The request for services is made by calling or stopping by, and providing the receptionist with the needed information. Requests for adult services may be given over the phone at (360) 748-6696. For child or adolescent services, call (360) 330-9044.

The receptionist will ask for some basic information such as: reason for requesting services; Medicaid and/or medical insurance information; referral source; income status; etc.

A face-to-face or telephone screening appointment is then scheduled. The information shared with our receptionist is provided to the screening clinician prior to the appointment.  All information provided to the receptionist and the screener is strictly confidential and covered by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Client Rights - A list of client rights is provided at intake.  The intake clinician reviews these with the client as a part of the intake process.  A client may always request an explanation of their rights at any point during treatment.
